Bihar Minister Criticizes Mamata Banerjee and TMCs Future

Patna, February 4: Bihar government minister Ramkripal Yadav has targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her party, the Trinamool Congress (TMC). He stated that Banerjee has already lost the upcoming elections and is fearful of defeat, even suggesting that she might face jail time.

Yadav accused the West Bengal government of widespread corruption, asserting that this is why it cannot continue under Banerjee’s leadership. He noted that several of her associates have already faced action, which has led to her expressing fear in her statements.

He remarked, “People have decided to throw the TMC into the Bay of Bengal.”

Yadav also criticized Banerjee regarding the SIR process, stating that the names of wrongdoers will not be removed and actions will be taken within the legal framework. He added that accountability will also be established for those involved in groups in Uttar Pradesh.

Speaking about parliamentary proceedings, the minister accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of disrupting the smooth functioning of the house. Yadav emphasized that the proceedings should follow rules and procedures, allowing everyone to voice their opinions, but instead, disruptions are occurring.

In response to the trade deal between India and the United States, he stated that the agreement pertains to agriculture and dairy, which directly affects farmers. He clarified that the development of agriculture and farming is a sovereign matter for the country, and no external interference will be tolerated.
