Tragic Suicide of Three Sisters Shocks Ghaziabad Community

Ghaziabad, February 8: The tragic suicide of three sisters in the Bharat City Society, located in the Teela Mod area of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has left the nation in shock.

Initial investigations reveal that the sisters were heavily influenced by Korean games and culture, identifying themselves as Korean. In response to this heartbreaking incident, Babita Singh Chauhan, chairperson of the State Women’s Commission, visited the bereaved family and urged parents to prevent their children from becoming addicted to mobile devices.

Chauhan expressed her sorrow regarding the sisters’ deaths, stating, “This is an extremely tragic event, which is why I came to meet the family. Losing three daughters at once is devastating for any family. I spoke with their parents, who mentioned that the girls were avid fans of Korean games. Typically, these games involve a last-stage suicide scenario. Previously, games like PUBG have led to financial ruin for parents and even caused children to take their own lives; such games should be banned.”

She also raised concerns about how the parents were unaware of the girls’ intentions. “I met with the girls’ parents and visited their home. It is a one-room house where everyone slept together. How could family members not notice that the three sisters were about to take such a drastic step? This incident did not happen overnight; the girls had been obsessed with the game for a long time. Why didn’t the parents or other family members intervene?”

Chauhan further advised, “The police are investigating the matter, but I urge children to stay away from their phones and not to treat social media as their entire life. Parents should also monitor what their children are doing. Our culture emphasizes a strong bond between parents and children, so it is essential to keep a close watch on them.”
