New Delhi, February 6: A heartbreaking incident has emerged from the Janakpuri area of Delhi, where a young man tragically lost his life after falling into a deep open pit on the street. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Kamal, a resident of Kailashpuri.
In response to this tragic event, BJP leader R.P. Singh stated that the government has taken note of the incident. He assured that strict action will be taken against anyone found responsible. The Delhi government is committed to ensuring that such incidents do not occur again.
Addressing allegations from the Aam Aadmi Party regarding the Janakpuri incident, Singh remarked that similar accidents happened during their tenure as well. He emphasized that politics should not overshadow this serious matter. Minister Pravesh Verma visited the site and some officials have already been suspended. He expressed hope that such an incident never happens again.
Regarding the recent murder of an AAP leader in Punjab, Singh noted that this is not the first time an AAP member has been killed. He recalled a previous incident where a sarpanch was shot in Amritsar. Singh criticized the law and order situation in Punjab, claiming that the Chief Minister is more focused on the safety of leaders visiting from Delhi than on the safety of his own party workers. He described the situation in Punjab as dire, citing bomb blasts at police stations and other violent incidents in Gurudaspur and Maholi. Singh asserted that the government has failed to maintain law and order.
The BJP leader alleged that gangsters and Khalistani elements in Punjab are extorting money, threatening those who refuse to comply with violence.
In response to Congress leader Pawan Khera’s comments, Singh remarked that their leaders often flee abroad during elections and should explain their reasons for doing so.
