Tragic Road Accident Claims Three Lives in Sonbhadra

Sonbhadra, February 9: A devastating road accident has occurred in the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. A speeding truck collided violently with a motorcycle in the Hinduwari area of the Robertsganj police station jurisdiction. Tragically, all three individuals on the motorcycle died at the scene, causing shockwaves throughout the community.

According to reports, the three victims were returning home after attending a tilak ceremony. As they approached Hinduwari, the truck struck them with tremendous force, resulting in their immediate fatalities.

Among the deceased is Dayashankar Singh, the principal of Chandragupt Maurya Inter College. The other two victims have been identified as Prem Singh, son of Kedar Singh, and Kamla Singh, son of Somaru, both residents of Tilaya in Robertsganj. The sudden loss of three lives has left their families devastated, and a wave of mourning has swept through the village.

Following the incident, the truck driver fled the scene. Upon receiving the news, the Robertsganj police quickly arrived at the location. They have taken the bodies into custody for post-mortem examinations and initiated further legal proceedings. Authorities are currently searching for the runaway truck driver with the assistance of nearby CCTV footage.

Earlier, in a separate incident in the Anpara police station area of Sonbhadra, a speeding truck collided with motorcyclists near the Maa Ashtabhuji Durga Temple on Sunday afternoon. In that accident, 18-year-old Jitendra Vishwakarma lost his life, while his companion, Ajay Gupta, sustained serious injuries. The truck driver also escaped from that scene.
