Monthly Review Meeting Held for Administrative Efficiency in Nawada

Nawada, February 7: A monthly review meeting was conducted on Saturday under the chairmanship of district magistrate Ravi Prakash at the DRDA auditorium. The meeting involved chief clerks from various offices, focusing on a comprehensive review of administrative and judicial matters related to different departments.

During the meeting, updates were provided on maintaining cash books, the status of CWJC and MJC cases, pending cases in the civil court, departmental actions, human rights issues, matters related to the Lokayukta, applications received under the Right to Information Act, service book verification, service benefits, and retirement benefits. The review also covered ACDC bills, compliance with audits, workbooks, and departmental reports related to public grievance redressal.

The District Magistrate instructed all offices to coordinate with relevant officials to ensure timely processing of applications received under the ‘Sabka Samman, Jeevan Aasan’ campaign, part of the 7 Nischay-3 initiative. He emphasized the need for thorough investigation and prompt execution of applications at the district, block, and circle levels, ensuring that reports are entered into the portal.

Additionally, arrangements for toilets and drinking water for applicants attending public hearings on Mondays and Fridays were mandated. The meeting also reviewed complaints registered on the CPGRAM portal.

The District Panchayat Raj Officer discussed pending matters related to Utilization Certificates (UC). All chief clerks were directed to ensure the swift and timely processing of these pending UC cases.

The District Magistrate mandated that all types of leave, including casual leave, earned leave, and maternity leave, must be applied for online through the HRMS portal. The meeting also reviewed the biometric attendance system, stressing its effective implementation. He instructed all chief clerks to maintain transparency, timeliness, and serious adherence to departmental responsibilities, ensuring that cash books are updated after the financial year ends.

Furthermore, he directed that retirement benefits for employees should be ensured on the day of retirement, that all employees receive ACP/MACP in a timely manner, and that service confirmation is conducted promptly. Updated reports related to ACP/MACP and service confirmation details should be made available to all departments.

The District Magistrate also instructed all chief clerks to ensure the swift execution of tasks in their respective offices and to provide all types of reports on time. Additionally, detailed reports regarding departmental actions, questions from the Assembly/Council, human rights, and pending court cases were requested for the next meeting.
