Sultanpur, February 7: In a recent press conference in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar elaborated on the government’s intentions and priorities regarding the Union Budget for 2026.
He stated that the Indian government has presented the central budget, which includes significant provisions for farmers, youth, traders, students, women, and the general public.
Rajbhar highlighted that to achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047, the government has launched various welfare schemes. This press conference in Sultanpur is part of a series of district-wise media interactions aimed at informing the public.
He emphasized that the 2026-27 budget is designed to empower the dreams of youth and strengthen the trust of farmers. This budget will serve as a decisive step towards making women self-reliant and advancing the government’s vision of empowering the middle and lower classes.
Rajbhar claimed that this budget will be remembered as a historic one, providing a solid foundation for the commitment to a developed India. He noted that the current government’s identity has been defined by “Reform, Perform, and Transform,” and this budget reflects that philosophy.
When asked about the extension of the SIR process, Minister Rajbhar acknowledged the confusion among the public regarding SIR. He explained that this confusion has been exacerbated by the board examinations and the upcoming census. However, he clarified that the State Election Commission has printed ballot papers and sent them to all districts. Any objections regarding the voter list have been resolved.
Rajbhar further stated that the printing of ballot papers is progressing rapidly and will be completed by the 28th. He assured that elections will be held on schedule, with all preparations underway. The minister reiterated that ensuring a transparent and smooth democratic process is the government’s top priority.
