Agartala, February 6: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced on Thursday that the state government is dedicated to providing all possible assistance to those in need and ensuring quality healthcare facilities across the state. He emphasized the significant role of telemedicine in delivering advanced medical services.
During the 62nd episode of “Samipesh” (the Chief Minister’s public forum), Saha addressed the public, urging economically disadvantaged patients to avoid seeking treatment outside the state unless specialized care is absolutely necessary.
“Now, advanced medical services can be provided in many cases within Tripura. With the help of telemedicine, people can receive specialized medical advice without traveling outside the state,” he stated.
At the event held at his official residence, Saha, who is also a dental surgeon, listened to medical and other grievances from individuals who had traveled from various parts of the state. He instructed officials to take immediate action to resolve these issues.
