Chandigarh, February 4: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini sharply criticized Congress on Wednesday for its unfounded claims. He stated that the party has made confusion its only policy.
Referring to Congress as a “Tweet Master Party,” the Chief Minister emphasized that it relies solely on statements and confrontation.
During a media interaction, Saini asserted that Congress lacks a roadmap for development and has devolved into reactionary politics. He highlighted the difference between online noise and effective governance, claiming that Congress has become merely a master of tweets.
He condemned the party’s irresponsible, incomplete, and misleading politics regarding the central budget. Saini noted that the opposition has neither read nor understood the budget and is opposing it merely for the sake of opposition.
He described the second budget under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership as comprehensive and reform-oriented for the country’s 1.4 billion citizens.
Saini further stated that the opposition is making baseless accusations without waiting for the complete presentation of the budget. He remarked that when the opposition cannot counter facts, it resorts to protests just to make its presence felt.
He pointed out that some individuals on social media have claimed that Haryana received nothing, urging them to wait for the full budget presentation. He also suggested that there seems to be a competition within Congress to please Rahul Gandhi the most.
Referencing Rahul Gandhi‘s past statements, Saini mentioned that during a visit to Kurukshetra, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha made irrational comments, including questioning whether the Pandavas implemented the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
He concluded by stating that such remarks clearly reflect the seriousness and understanding of Congress leadership.
