England Secures Dominant Victory Over India in Final T20 Match

Jaipur, February 7: England achieved a remarkable victory against India in the fifth and final T20 match of the Mixed Disability Series, winning by 9 wickets. With this win, the visiting team clinched the series 4-1.

Batting first, India struggled to build momentum and was all out for 125 runs in 19.2 overs. The host team lost early wickets, including Wasim Iqbal, who fell cheaply.

Akash Singh, alongside captain Ravindra Sante, added 60 runs for the second wicket, bringing the score to 82. Singh scored 51 runs off 43 balls, hitting 2 sixes and 4 fours, while Sante contributed 33 runs from 26 balls. Nanda also chipped in with 19 runs.

The lower-order batsmen provided minimal support. After losing their second wicket, India quickly lost more wickets and collapsed to a total of just 125 runs. Farooq Mohammad was the standout bowler for England, claiming 3 wickets, while Henry Venman and Angus Brown took 2 wickets each.

In response, England chased down the target effortlessly, scoring 128 runs for the loss of just 1 wicket in only 12.4 overs. Opener John Gale anchored the innings with an unbeaten 53 runs off 36 balls, showcasing patience and clean stroke play.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Angus Gallant Brown played a match-winning knock of 62 runs off just 34 balls, hitting five fours and five sixes, putting pressure on the Indian bowlers.

Throughout the match, the Indian bowling attack struggled to take wickets, with their only breakthrough coming when Brown was dismissed for 102 runs. Josh Price remained not out as England comfortably secured victory with more than 7 overs to spare.
