BJP Set to Form Government in West Bengal, Claims Nishith Pramanik

Kolkata, February 5: The verbal clash between leaders of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is intensifying as the assembly elections in West Bengal approach. Allegations and counter-allegations regarding the Special Investigation Report (SIR) are rampant.

BJP leader Nishith Pramanik asserts that the party is in a strong position this time, predicting that the lotus will bloom in Bengal. In a conversation in Kolkata, he confidently stated that the BJP will definitely form the government in West Bengal. He anticipates winning at least 100 more seats compared to the last election, leading to a significant majority.

Commenting on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee‘s recent trip to Delhi and the Supreme Court hearings related to the SIR, Pramanik questioned the motives behind her actions. “Mamata Banerjee went to the Supreme Court, but what was the outcome? Why is she trying to protect someone? Is she attempting to shield the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis whose illegal votes have kept her in power?” he asked.

Pramanik emphasized that the people of Bengal are not prepared for such tactics. He noted that following the SIR, deceased voters will be removed from the electoral rolls, which he believes will lead to the end of TMC’s dominance in the state.

He accused Banerjee of wanting to retain deceased voters on the list, suggesting that their votes have historically benefited TMC candidates. “Many party workers have reported that votes from deceased individuals have gone to TMC in previous elections. The last two TMC governments were also formed with the help of these votes. Banerjee is worried because, without these votes, how will she win the elections?”

Pramanik asserted that alliances with other parties will not affect the BJP’s prospects. “BJP will come to power in Bengal. We are set to win a significant number of seats, at least 100 more than last time,” he stated.

He concluded by expressing his unwavering belief in victory, stating, “The words ‘loss’ and ‘defeat’ do not exist in my dictionary. I only believe in winning.”
