Sheikhpura, February 7: Under the Bihar government’s initiative “Sabka Samman – Jeevan Aasaan,” District Magistrate Shekhar Anand conducted a public grievance hearing on Friday at his office. During the event, a total of 37 applications were received from citizens.
At the public forum, residents presented various issues, including the repair of schools in the Sheikhpura Municipal Council area, land encroachments, land registration, benefits of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, blocked pathways, reopening of public distribution shops, issuance of ration cards, drinking water supply, electricity bill corrections, illegal construction on land, pollution from engines, land distribution among siblings, and more.
The District Magistrate listened attentively to all complaints and instructed the relevant officials to investigate the applications and ensure timely and quality action, so that complainants do not face any difficulties. He emphasized that the swift resolution of complaints is a priority for the administration.
DM Shekhar Anand noted that elderly citizens often attend this program with their issues, urging officials to listen with sensitivity and ensure timely solutions.
On this occasion, the District Magistrate also encouraged citizens to take medication for filariasis.
The public forum was attended by the Additional Collector, District Public Grievance Redressal Officer, and other relevant officials.
In Nawada, under the direction of District Magistrate Ravi Prakash, public hearings were also organized at all government offices at the village, police station, block, sub-district, and district levels, where citizens’ issues were taken seriously, and necessary actions were initiated for prompt and effective resolutions.
The main objective of the Bihar government’s seventh resolution under “Saat Nischay-3,” “Sabka Samman – Jeevan Aasaan,” is to alleviate the difficulties faced by citizens in their daily lives, making their lives simpler, easier, and more dignified. This initiative ensures that the public does not encounter any inconvenience in the execution of tasks related to government offices.
