New Delhi, February 6: India secured a remarkable victory against England, winning the Under-19 World Cup 2026 final by 100 runs at the Harare Sports Club on Friday. Esteemed figures from the sports world have lauded the junior players for their outstanding performance.
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar took to social media platform ‘X’ to express his pride, stating, “Champions! I am incredibly proud of this young group and their fearless cricket. Congratulations to the entire team, including the coach and support staff. Enjoy this moment. With a player like Suryavanshi, a timeless blockbuster is expected. Well done, Vaibhav!”
Run-machine Virat Kohli praised the Indian team, saying, “Congratulations to India’s Under-19 team for winning the World Cup once again. Our dominance in age-group cricket and beyond continues. Kudos to the entire team and support staff for this achievement.”
