New Delhi, February 6: In the warm-up matches for the T20 World Cup 2026 held on Thursday, Nepal secured a victory against Canada, while New Zealand achieved a thrilling win over the USA. The match between Australia and the Netherlands was abandoned due to rain.
In the 12th warm-up match, Nepal claimed a remarkable 6-wicket victory over Canada at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Canada batted first, scoring 161 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Shreyas Mowwa contributed an unbeaten 38 runs, while opener Navneet Dhaliwal added 41 runs. Kanwarpal Tathgur chipped in with 25 runs. For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane and Kushal Bhurtel took 2 wickets each.
