All Suspects Arrested in Mahrauli Assault Case

New Delhi, February 5: In a significant police operation, all suspects involved in an assault case in the Mahrauli area of South Delhi have been arrested. On February 3, the Mahrauli police station received a PCR call reporting an assault on an individual near Anupam Apartments, IGNOU Road, Saket. Upon receiving the information, a police team promptly arrived at the scene.

The injured person was identified as Mukesh (26), a resident of Sangam Vihar, and he was immediately provided with medical assistance. Initially, he was admitted to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital. However, due to the severity of his condition, he was later referred to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for further treatment.

Following a swift investigation, police discovered that four individuals had attacked Mukesh. Given the seriousness of the incident, an FIR was registered under the Indian Penal Code sections 110/79/126(2)/3(5). The police prioritized the investigation and formed special teams to identify and apprehend the suspects.

According to a press release from the Delhi Police, a precise strategy and coordinated efforts led to the quick identification and arrest of all four suspects. Police officials stated that further investigations are ongoing, and other aspects of the incident are being thoroughly examined.

The arrested suspects include Vishal Rawat (26), son of Balram Singh Rawat; Jatin (20), son of Rakesh Gupta; Sonu (25), son of Shahzad Ali; and Vivek (20). All suspects were apprehended in the Sangam Vihar area.
