VHP Criticizes West Bengal Budget and Film Depicting Hindus

New Delhi, February 7: Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson for the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), has made significant remarks regarding the West Bengal Budget, an alleged incident related to the Tirupati Balaji temple, and a controversial film.

Bansal questioned the West Bengal government’s budget, stating that the funds allocated for minorities far exceed those for crucial sectors like technological development, education, and industry. He accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of laying the groundwork for another division of Bengal.

He claimed that a policy of “appeasement” is being adopted in the name of minorities, which is hurting the Hindu Community. Bansal asserted that the misuse of funds belonging to the Hindu society is a serious issue that the government must address. He warned that if this mindset does not change, the Hindu community will not remain silent in the future.

Additionally, referencing a statement by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Bansal raised a serious allegation. He stated that Naidu claimed that during the previous government’s tenure, when his uncle was the chairman of the Tirupati Devasthanam Board, chemicals used for cleaning toilets were allegedly mixed into the ghee used for Tirupati Balaji’s laddus. Bansal described this as a grave revelation and called for a thorough investigation into the matter.

Furthermore, regarding the film “Ghuskhore Pandit,” the VHP spokesperson took a strong stance. He stated that in their attempt to gain publicity, the film’s director, producers, and the OTT platform Netflix have seriously insulted the Hindu community. According to him, such films hurt religious sentiments and send the wrong message to society.
