Lucknow, February 8: Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Malaysia. He stated that Modi promotes India’s message of peace and prosperity during his international engagements, emphasizing that he represents the land of Buddha.
In a discussion about the agreements made between India and Malaysia, Rajbhar highlighted the importance of peace and harmony. He noted that the recent deal aims to ensure that people live in tranquility.
Rajbhar also reflected on the significant development achievements over the past decade, mentioning improvements in road, rail, and airport connectivity. He pointed out that measures have been taken to curb middlemen, leading to substantial progress.
Regarding the Uttar Pradesh Assembly’s budget session, Rajbhar mentioned that the budget will be presented, and discussions will focus on public welfare and development issues. He criticized the opposition for not aligning with the government’s efforts, questioning how they could seek votes if they obstruct progress.
On the BJP’s election strategy in West Bengal, Rajbhar remarked that every party enters elections with a plan, and it is ultimately the public that decides.
Congress leader Surendra Rajput responded to PM Modi’s statement in Malaysia about trust being India’s strong currency. He criticized the Prime Minister for accepting what he termed a humiliating deal with the U.S., which restricts India’s oil purchases from Russia. Rajput argued that this undermines mutual respect.
He also commented on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statements, asserting that mere speeches are insufficient. He condemned the violence associated with RSS followers and called for an end to the tensions created by such organizations.
Regarding the BJP’s campaign in West Bengal, Rajput suggested that the party should apologize for inciting communal strife over the past five years, leading to violence and unrest. He accused the BJP of stoking communal tensions to gain power in the state.
