Tributes Pour In for Jananayak Karpoori Thakur on His Death Anniversary

New Delhi, February 17: On the death anniversary of freedom fighter, educator, politician, and former Chief Minister of Bihar, Karpoori Thakur, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other BJP leaders paid heartfelt tributes.

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan expressed his respect on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “On the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur, I pay my humble respects. As a true people’s leader, he dedicated his entire life to social justice, empowering the marginalized, and public service. His commitment to simplicity, integrity, and uplifting the underprivileged continues to inspire our nation and strengthen our democratic values.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also took to ‘X’, writing, “As a champion of social justice, Karpoori Thakur was always dedicated to freedom, equality, and democratic values. His life, symbolizing purity and transparency in social life, will always inspire the youth. I pay my respects on the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpoori Thakur.”

Former BJP National President and Union Minister J.P. Nadda shared on ‘X’, “I bow deeply on the death anniversary of the great freedom fighter and champion of social justice, Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpoori Thakur. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on ‘X’, “On the death anniversary of the great freedom fighter, champion of social justice, former Chief Minister of Bihar, and Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur, I pay my humble respects. His unwavering commitment to empowering the oppressed and protecting democratic values will always be inspiring.”
