
New Delhi, February 4: On the birth anniversary of the renowned Hindustani classical singer, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, several leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, paid their respects.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to the social media platform ‘X’ to express, “Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi brought Indian classical music to a global stage through his bhajans and extraordinary music. He significantly connected society by singing in various Indian languages. I pay my heartfelt tribute to Bhimsen Joshi Ji on his birth anniversary.”
