Mumbai, February 9: Rohan Mehra, known for his role as Duggu in the TV series ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, is now showcasing his talent in music videos. His latest album song, ‘Sharmana’, featuring actress Hiya, has just been released and is receiving a warm reception from audiences.
In a special conversation about the new album song and his upcoming projects, Rohan was joined by Hiya. Discussing the title and emotions of the song, Rohan stated, “The song is a party and love anthem. Viewers will experience something new as the backgrounds and scenes were created with the help of AI. We aimed to showcase locations like Dubai and London, all shot in a single studio.”
He added, “We had very little rehearsal time. The song includes many dance steps, and it was entirely filmed on a chroma set. We could only visualize elements like a pool or a helicopter. It was challenging, but we had a lot of fun during the shoot. I urge my fans to show plenty of love for the song. We might make mistakes, but please support us.”
Regarding ‘Sharmana’, Hiya expressed that the song captures feelings that haven’t been felt before. She emphasized that while the title suggests shyness, the song exudes a different kind of confidence. “I’ve wanted to do a song like this for a long time, and I’m thrilled to finally have the opportunity,” she said.
Notably, Akshay Kumar attended the launch of ‘Sharmana’, referring to the entire star cast as family and encouraging fans to support the song. Currently, the music video has surpassed 1 million views.
