Mumbai, February 5: Actress Rhea Chakraborty is set to make her return to the acting world with the web series “Family Business.” She expressed her joy and emotions through an Instagram post on Wednesday.
In the video, Rhea appears quite emotional. She shared that it has been seven years since she last stepped onto a set, but her passion remains as strong as ever. Rhea wrote in her post, “It’s been seven years since I was on a set, but I am still the same girl who came to Mumbai at 17 with dreams of becoming an actor. A part of me has moved on, but another part stayed behind, waiting. Now, I am back—entering Chapter 2 of my life.”
She further remarked, “It is often said that life happens while we are busy making other plans.”
Fans are thrilled about her return, flooding the comments section with various reactions.
Rhea began her career at a young age, initially working in several films and TV shows. She started with the MTV reality show “Teen Diva” in 2009, which led to her becoming a popular VJ. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film “Tuning Tuning” in 2012 and entered Bollywood with “Mere Dad Ki Maruti” in 2013. Now, she is returning after a seven-year hiatus with Netflix’s “Family Business.”
This series revolves around power, familial ties, and betrayal, featuring Anil Kapoor and Vijay Varma together on screen for the first time. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the series will also showcase a talented cast, including Akash Khurana, Neha Dhupia, Anant Nag, Kanwaljeet Singh, Dhruv Sehgal, Nandish Sandhu, Tina Desai, and Raima Sen.
