New Delhi, February 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students from various states during the second episode of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026’. Among the participants were two brothers from Gujarat, Avi and Jai, who brought a smile to PM Modi‘s face upon hearing their names. He warmly embraced Jai during their introduction.
In fact, PM Modi had previously met both Avi and Jai in 2022. Their reunion at ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026’ created a joyful atmosphere, as he reminded them of their earlier encounter.
“Jai and Avi, look how much you’ve grown. You’ve shown other students how you know me,” PM Modi remarked. He then asked the other students if they felt encouraged, to which they responded affirmatively.
Following this, PM Modi initiated a Q&A session with students from Gujarat. He engaged in a comprehensive discussion on education, stress relief, career options, and the contributions of tribal communities to nation-building.
The students, including those from tribal areas, welcomed the Prime Minister in their local language and expressed joy at seeing him in a traditional jacket adorned with local art. One student excitedly told PM Modi, “Sir, we are thrilled to meet you. Everyone wants to meet and talk with you at least once, and we feel honored to have this opportunity today.”
Another student inquired about PM Modi’s motivation for working on the development of Gujarat’s tribal regions. In response, he shared experiences from the Pal-Chitariya incident and the challenges faced by tribal communities.
He stated, “The freedom of the tribal community was a significant event that involved much struggle. There was once a terrible famine, and I spent a lot of time working there. This made me realize the importance of focusing on Education, and when I became Chief Minister, I knew it was essential.”
PM Modi noted, “You might be surprised to learn that there was no science school from Umargam to Ambaji. Now, many educational institutions are benefiting students immensely.” He emphasized that education is crucial for development and that a strong infrastructure is the foundation for long-term growth.
