Gandhinagar, February 7: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in India’s first Nature Love Bhagwat Katha-Gyan Yajna Festival held in Gandhinagar. This event, aimed at promoting environmental awareness, is organized by the Nature First Foundation in collaboration with nature enthusiasts.
The festival runs from February 1 to February 7. On the sixth day, Chief Minister Patel attended the Katha and performed the Aarti at the Vyaspeeth. Renowned Bhagwat storyteller Pujya Rameshbhai Ojha is delivering the Katha, sharing its spiritual essence with attendees.
The primary goal of this Katha is to safeguard future generations against natural disasters and to raise environmental awareness among the public. Uniquely, the Katha is being conducted in the heart of nature, amidst dense shady trees in Sector 6, without any tents or pavilions.
This innovative initiative in Gandhinagar emphasizes the preservation and enhancement of the five elements of the universe and nature, regarded as the mother of all living beings.
Notable attendees included Narayanbhai Patel, chief trustee of the Nature First Trust and sponsor of the Katha, former minister Mahendra Bhai Trivedi, Padma Shri Jagdishbhai Trivedi, MLA Reetaben Patel, Municipal Corporation Standing Committee Chairman Gourangbhai Vyas, city BJP President Ashishbhai Dave, and former mayor Hiteshbhai Makwana, among a large gathering of devotees.
