Modi Encourages Students to Embrace Their Unique Learning Styles

New Delhi, February 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared invaluable advice for students during the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha‘ program. He urged them to study according to their own patterns. While it’s important to listen to various suggestions, students should only change their methods when they feel it is right for them.

During the first chapter titled ‘Your Style, Your Pace,’ a student from Gujarat raised a question. She expressed concern about the conflicting study patterns suggested by teachers and parents, which often clash with the students’ own preferences. In response, PM Modi emphasized that these patterns are lifelong.

He illustrated his point by saying, “I have become Prime Minister, yet people suggest different ways for me to work. Everyone has their own approach.”

Engaging with the students, he remarked, “When families sit down to eat together, each person has a different eating pattern. Some start with vegetables, others with lentils, while some mix everything together. They enjoy their meals when they eat according to their own styles.”

While imparting wisdom on studying, he advised, “Some people study better in the morning, while others excel at night. Trust your own pattern. Seek advice, but incorporate it into your life only if it benefits you. This should be based on your experiences, not just on someone else’s suggestions.”

He further referenced the evolution of the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program itself, stating, “When this initiative began, it had a different format. Over time, many changes have been made, including dialogues with students from various states. I have also adapted some elements, but I have not abandoned my core approach.”

After hearing his insights, the student expressed her admiration for PM Modi’s approachable nature. She noted that he connected well with all the children, emphasizing the importance of focusing on one’s own learning style while also being open to learning from others.
