Kiren Rijiju Responds to Congress on Chinese Incursion Allegations

New Delhi, February 6: Central Minister Kiren Rijiju has sharply reacted to Congress‘s allegations regarding Chinese incursions and the controversy surrounding former Army Chief M.M. Naravane‘s book. He emphasized that defense matters should not be used as political weapons.

Rijiju took to the social media platform ‘X’ to express his views, stating, “Our government is led by an experienced leader. The Henderson Brooks-Bhagat Commission report has been kept secret since 1962. It blamed the Nehru government for the humiliating defeat against the Chinese PLA. Our government has never made it public because defense matters cannot be politicized.”

Additionally, Rijiju shared an old post featuring a video of himself visiting the China border and engaging in discussions with Indian soldiers. This post was made on November 1, 2024, when he celebrated Diwali with the troops stationed at the border.

In response to the controversy surrounding M.M. Naravane’s book, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey criticized Congress. He announced his decision to create a library documenting the misdeeds and corruption of the Nehru-Gandhi family, which he claims have harmed the nation. He called for public support and suggestions for this initiative, stating, “This library will serve as an ideal resource for future generations and research students.”

In his video message, Dubey remarked, “I spoke in Parliament about the Nehru-Gandhi family’s actions and corruption, which received a tremendous response nationwide. Following numerous calls, I decided to establish this library. It will encompass various issues, including socio-economic damages, the partition of India-Pakistan, and many confidential documents that have not entered the public domain.”

He urged the public to provide information about books related to the Nehru-Gandhi family so that he can acquire them for the library.
