Mumbai, February 8: Kanika Mann, known for her role in the popular TV series “Guddun Tumse Na Ho Payega,” is set to captivate audiences once again. This time, however, she will not be portraying a regular human character but will take on the fierce role of a dragon in “Naagin 7.”
In a recent interview, Kanika expressed her excitement about playing the dragon character, describing it as a dream come true. “The dragon has been featured in the last 12 episodes, and the audience is already connected to it. Now, I will be the new face of this character. I hope to portray the dragon well,” she stated.
She elaborated on the complexities of her character, Radhika, noting that there are many ups and downs in her life before she transforms into a dragon. “The dragon’s world is different, and I am most excited about the dragon’s look, as it comes from another realm. I have never played such a character before,” Kanika added.
Kanika also described Radhika as having shades of gray. “When she gets angry, she shows it, and when she is happy, she expresses that too. However, she knows how to cross boundaries, which makes her character slightly negative. I am enjoying playing this role,” she said. The series will also feature some action scenes, which will be shot with great care. “Given the nature of the character, I can imagine there will be many stunts,” she noted.
Kanika believes that she learns something from every character she portrays. Regarding her new dragon role, she mentioned, “Becoming a dragon is not easy for me, but I am learning a lot from Radhika. I have started to feel her emotions and live a bit like her, unlike my previous bubbly roles. Radhika and the dragon character are entirely different, with a unique way of speaking and moving. There is a grace to her.”
