JD(U) MP Discusses Pappu Yadavs Arrest and Budget Session Chaos

New Delhi, February 8: JD(U) MP Ramprit Mandal has made significant statements regarding the arrest of MP Pappu Yadav, the disruptions during the Parliament’s budget session, and the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections. He emphasized that the law is functioning as it should and that everyone must respect the constitutional process.

In response to Pappu Yadav’s arrest, Mandal noted that as a six-time MP, he understands the seriousness of the matter. He remarked that Yadav should have applied for bail earlier if he believed the situation warranted it. “This is entirely a matter related to constitutional law, and the law is doing its job. I hope the court will grant him bail at the appropriate time,” he stated.

Mandal then targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of continuously disrupting the proceedings during the budget session. He asserted that the country operates under the constitution and the law. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was fully prepared to speak in the Lok Sabha, but Gandhi and his associates prevented him from doing so.

“This was all done deliberately to project Rahul Gandhi as a significant leader in front of the public. However, he is not a major leader. In front of Prime Minister Modi, Rahul Gandhi holds no stature. He only obstructs parliamentary proceedings to stay in the headlines,” Mandal added.

Regarding the question of JD(U) fielding candidates in the West Bengal elections, Mandal stated that there is currently no official information on this matter. He assured that if there are any updates from their executive president Sanjay, he would inform everyone.

While discussing the political situation in West Bengal, Mandal reiterated the party’s commitment to the NDA. “We stand firmly with the NDA. Given the current situation in Bengal, it seems that the NDA will secure a significant victory and form a government with substantial support,” he concluded.
