Ishan Kishan Climbs 32 Spots in ICC T20 Rankings, Sam Ayub Tops All-Rounder List

New Delhi, February 4: Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan has made a remarkable leap of 32 spots in the ICC Men’s T20 rankings. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Sam Ayub has ascended to the top position among all-rounders.

Kishan earned his place back in the Indian team after a long hiatus, participating in a series against New Zealand. He scored 76, 28, and 103 runs in three matches, totaling 207 runs and marking his first T20 International century. This impressive performance has propelled him to the 32nd position just before the start of the T20 World Cup 2026.

In the batsmen’s rankings, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has moved up to sixth place, surpassing Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan. Opener Abhishek Sharma continues to dominate the top spot.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s opener Sam Ayub has secured the top position in the all-rounder rankings following an outstanding performance in the recently concluded series against Australia. The 23-year-old scored 119 runs and took three wickets during the series, overtaking Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza for the top rank.

In the bowlers’ rankings, Pakistan’s main spinner Abrar Ahmed has made significant progress, moving up to second place, just 28 points behind the leader Varun Chakravarthy.

Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz, who claimed five wickets in the series, has climbed eight spots to reach seventh place among bowlers. England’s leg-spinner Adil Rashid has risen two places to fourth, while New Zealand’s captain Mitchell Santner has jumped eight spots to 23rd.

The top 10 batsmen’s list also saw several changes. Former England captain Jos Buttler has moved up to third place, while Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka has secured fifth. New Zealand’s Tim Seifert is now in ninth place, and South Africa’s opener Ryan Rickelton has surged 42 spots to reach 40th.
