New Delhi, February 4: BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj has asserted that the India-U.S. trade deal will significantly enhance the ‘Make in India’ initiative. This development is expected to benefit people in both India and the United States.
During a media interaction in New Delhi, Swaraj highlighted that in the past eight months, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has signed several major trade agreements with various countries, including New Zealand. Recently, a deal referred to as the ‘mother of all trade deals’ was signed, covering a quarter of the global GDP. Modi has been diligently working to finalize these agreements to secure a prosperous economic future for India.
Swaraj praised Modi’s tireless efforts, noting that during a recent conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, a new deal was established that reduced tariffs on India to 18%.
