A celebratory atmosphere envelops the home of team captain Ayush Mhatre, with his parents expressing immense joy. They proudly stated, “We are so proud of our son, Ayush Mhatre.”
In an interview, Ayush Mhatre’s father, Yogesh Kamalakar Mhatre, expressed his happiness: “We are very happy. My son has worked hard for many years, and today, the results are evident. This is a lifelong achievement. I am at a loss for words to express my joy. We are extremely proud of him.”
His mother, Jagriti Mhatre, added, “I am overjoyed. My son is leading Team India, and under his captaincy, India has won the World Cup.”
After India defeated England by 100 runs in the final, Ayush Mhatre’s friend, Parth Naik, remarked, “There is a festive atmosphere here. The family is enjoying this moment. The credit goes to his parents, who have worked very hard. Everything he has achieved is because of his family and parents.”
