New Delhi, February 5: Hockey India announced a 24-member Indian squad for the FIH Men’s Pro League 2025-26, set to take place from February 10 to 15 at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, Odisha.
Twenty-one-year-old Roshan Kujur has been included in the team, marking his debut in the senior national squad. Kujur was part of the team that won a bronze medal at the FIH Junior World Cup 2025 in Chennai. He also delivered outstanding performances during the domestic season, playing a crucial role for the Vedanta Kalinga Lancers, who clinched the Hero Hockey India League 2025-26 title.
The Rourkela leg will feature international teams such as Argentina and Belgium, promising high-intensity matches against some of the world’s top hockey teams.
The Indian team boasts a strong mix of experienced players and young talents across all positions. Manmeet Singh, who has consistently impressed, has also secured a spot in the squad. He was part of the Indian junior team that won bronze at the FIH Junior World Cup 2025 and showcased his skills while representing the HIL GC during the Hero Hockey India League 2025-26.
Head coach Craig Fulton commented on the team selection, stating, “This is an exciting blend of youth and experience. We have young talents like Roshan, Manmeet, and Amandeep, while the presence of senior players from the India-A setup adds valuable experience to the team. This balance is crucial for us. Belgium and Argentina are strong teams, but we believe in our capabilities. We are focused on delivering our best performance.”

Goalkeepers: Suraj Karkera and Pawan.
Defenders: Amit Rohidas, Jarmanpreet Singh, Jugraj Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, Sumit, Sanjay, Neelam Sanjeep Jess, and Amandeep Lakra.
Midfielders: Rajinder Singh, Manmeet Singh, Vivek Sagar Prasad, Hardik Singh, Moirangthem Rabichandra Singh, Neelakanta Sharma, and Roshan Kujur.
Forwards: Abhishek, Sukjeet Singh, Shilanand Lakra, Selvam Karthi, Mandeep Singh, Arjit Singh Hundal, and Aditya Arjun Lalage.
