Importance of Panchang: February 10 Astrological Insights

New Delhi, February 9: The Panchang holds significant importance in Sanatan Dharma. It helps determine auspicious and inauspicious times based on five elements: Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and Vaar. According to the Drik Panchang, February 10 marks the Ashtami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Phalguna.

This Tithi will last until 7:27 AM, after which the Navami will commence. However, according to Udaya Tithi, Ashtami will prevail throughout the day. In terms of Nakshatra, Vishakha will be effective until 7:55 AM, followed by Anuradha Nakshatra. The Yoga is Dhruva, which will remain until 1:42 AM on February 11. The Karana Koulav lasts until 7:27 AM, after which the Taitil Karana will continue until 8:43 PM.

On February 10, the Moon will transit through Scorpio. Sunrise will occur at 7:04 AM, and sunset will be at 6:07 PM.

For auspicious activities, it is advisable to choose times like Abhijit, Vijay, or Amrit Kaal. The auspicious moments include Brahma Muhurat from 5:20 AM to 6:12 AM, Abhijit Muhurat from 12:13 PM to 12:58 PM, Vijay Muhurat from 2:26 PM to 3:10 PM, and Godhuli Muhurat from 6:05 PM to 6:31 PM. Amrit Kaal is from 11:12 PM to 12:59 AM.

If you plan to undertake any auspicious or new work, pay special attention to Rahukal, which will occur from 3:21 PM to 4:44 PM. It is believed that starting new or auspicious work during this time is not fruitful. Other inauspicious times include Yamagand from 9:50 AM to 11:13 AM and Gulika Kaal from 12:35 PM to 1:58 PM. According to the Panchang, Vichhudho will be effective throughout the day, along with other inauspicious Yogas like Adal Yoga from 7:04 AM to 7:55 AM.

February 10 is a Tuesday, dedicated to Goddess Durga, Lord Hanuman, and the planet Mars. Devotional worship on this day pleases Goddess Durga and Lord Ram, while pacifying Mars.
