Seventy individuals from a specific caste within the general category have been named as accused, along with over 100 unidentified individuals. The police are currently investigating the matter.

According to police reports, the incident took place in Harinagar village, where Asharfi Paswan filed a complaint regarding an assault linked to a financial transaction. The complaint has led to charges against 70 individuals from the same caste and approximately 150 unidentified persons. It has been noted that the case has been registered under various sections, including the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
