Delhi BJP President Criticizes AAP Over Janakpuri Incident

New Delhi, February 8: In light of the Janakpuri incident, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva stated that losing a family member in any accident is profoundly tragic. He emphasized that providing support to the affected family is the state government’s responsibility.

However, he accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of playing petty Politics over this unfortunate event.

Sachdeva asserted that the BJP-led Delhi government is dedicated to public service. In this spirit, BJP President Nitin Naveen today dedicated 500 new e-buses to the public in a simple ceremony.

He further remarked that a statement issued by AAP President Saurabh Bhardwaj, following the event where these 500 buses were dedicated to the people of Delhi, shows a lack of sympathy for the Janakpuri tragedy. Instead, it reveals the political desperation of a party that has failed to introduce a single e-bus during its 11 years in power.

The Delhi BJP President condemned the issuance of such statements from Lutyens’ Delhi, stating that using a family’s pain to express electoral despair is not only reprehensible but also an unforgivable offense.

Sachdeva acknowledged the pain felt by AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Saurabh Bhardwaj, especially on February 8, the anniversary of last year’s assembly election results. However, he urged them to understand that no amount of crocodile tears for affected families can erase the dark chapter of their previous government, which the people of Delhi will never forgive.

He also mentioned that the family of Kamal Dhyani, who lost his life in the Janakpuri incident, is connected to the BJP. Palam MLA Kuldeep Solanki has been standing by the family for the past three days.

On Sunday, Delhi Minister Ashish Sood also visited the deceased’s family, while AAP leaders in Lutyens’ Delhi, like Bhardwaj, are merely engaging in rhetoric and shedding crocodile tears.
