China and Canada Urge Citizens to Leave Iran Immediately

New Delhi, February 27: China and Canada have issued urgent advisories for their citizens to leave Iran amid escalating tensions in the Middle East and the lack of concrete outcomes from US-Iran negotiations.

China has specifically advised its citizens against traveling to Iran, citing an increased risk of American attacks. The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated, “Given the current security situation in Iran, we urge Chinese citizens to avoid traveling there.”

Furthermore, all Chinese nationals currently in Iran are advised to prioritize their safety and leave the country as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Canada has called on all its citizens in Iran to exit the country promptly due to ongoing regional tensions. The Canadian government warned, “Conditions in the area are not favorable due to the current tensions. Conflict could erupt without warning. If you can leave Iran safely, do so now. Ensure your travel documents are up to date and have sufficient supplies in case of delays.”

Other countries, including Poland, Sweden, and India, have also urged their citizens to depart Iran as fears of rising tensions persist.

In a related advisory, the US Embassy has cautioned against travel to certain areas in Israel, including parts of Jerusalem, due to potential terrorist activities and widespread unrest.
