BJP Questions Tejashwi Yadavs Absence in Bihar Budget Session

Patna, February 12: The Bihar BJP state president, Sanjay Sarawagi, has raised concerns regarding the absence of Tejashwi Yadav, the national executive president of the RJD, from the Bihar budget session. He stated that the opposition leader has been consistently absent from the assembly, even during crucial sessions like the budget meeting.

Sarawagi remarked, “The opposition leader has been continuously missing. It appears that their interest has waned. The dates for the Chief Minister’s oath-taking were set before the election results were announced. Even in the first session after the government formation, the opposition leader was absent.”

He criticized this behavior as detrimental to democratic traditions.

Additionally, Sarawagi highlighted the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram,” written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay and sung by Rabindranath Tagore. He mentioned that under new guidelines issued by the Home Ministry, it is mandatory to honor and sing the national song at all government events across the country.

He accused some opposition members of opposing standing for “Vande Mataram.”

Regarding the ongoing chaos in the Lok Sabha, the BJP state president targeted the Congress party, stating, “The Congress has failed at every level and shows no concern for the common people. The disorder in the Lok Sabha is inappropriate for any democratic system.”

Sarawagi alleged that some party members created disturbances around the Speaker’s chamber and the Prime Minister’s seat, undermining democratic decorum.
