Akshay Kumars Bhoot Bangla Release Date Moved Up to April 10

Mumbai, February 7: The highly anticipated film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ starring Akshay Kumar is set to hit theaters soon. The film’s producers have announced a slight change in its release date.

Originally scheduled for May 15, the film will now be released on April 10. Akshay Kumar shared this update on Instagram on Saturday, posting a video with the caption, “The countdown for Bhoot Bangla has begun. The film will release not on May 15, but on April 10. See you in theaters.”

Directed by the renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ marks the return of Akshay and Priyadarshan after 14 years. The duo has previously collaborated on several successful films, including ‘Hello’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. The film is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films.

In addition to Akshay Kumar, the cast features a mix of familiar faces and new talent. The horror-comedy includes Vamika Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav. The film is co-produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ekta R. Kapoor, and is set for release in theaters on April 10, 2026.

Previously, Akshay Kumar appeared in ‘Housefull 5’, which did not meet box office expectations and was later aired on television. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, this film featured a star-studded cast including Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Ranjit, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.

Additionally, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the film ‘Hawan’, marking his return with Saif Ali Khan after 18 years. The shooting for this film has been completed, with cast members sharing photos on their social media.
