Adani International School Hosts IRIS National Fair 2025-26

Ahmedabad, February 9: Adani International School, located in Shantigram, organized the ‘IRIS National Fair 2025-26’ from February 6 to 8, aimed at promoting emerging talents in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) across India.

This three-day national event (Cohort 2) brought together 75 student innovators from 12 states and 24 cities, establishing Ahmedabad as a national platform for STEM research and innovation at the school level.

During the closing ceremony, the state’s Education Minister, Rivaba Ravindrasinh Jadeja, emphasized the importance of integrating research and innovation into early education.

“Research is no longer confined to university laboratories. It begins at institutions like Adani International School. When students start asking questions, learn to test ideas, and gain insights from failures at a young age, they lay the foundation for scientific thinking. Therefore, schools should not just be centers of teaching but also hubs of ideas and solutions,” she stated.

Namrata Adani, promoter of ADIS and non-executive director of Adani Group, remarked, “At Adani International School, we believe curiosity should be nurtured from childhood, and learning should extend beyond textbooks. Platforms like the IRIS National Fair provide students with opportunities to ask questions, experiment, and apply knowledge to real-world challenges.”

Designed to take learning beyond classrooms and textbooks, the fair featured student research exhibitions, structured guidance, workshops, and public engagement, allowing participants to engage in real-world scientific discovery and problem-solving.

The event kicked off with a conference for principals and teachers, where school leaders from across Ahmedabad discussed inquiry-based STEM teaching methods and experiential classroom practices. Students presented fundamental research through curated exhibitions with expert evaluation and guidance.

The closing ceremony was attended by prominent leaders, including Namrata Adani and Amit Singh, CEO of Adani Group’s International Energy Business, who delivered speeches representing the diverse sectors of the group.

The successful conclusion of the IRIS National Fair 2025-26 highlighted the growing role of schools as catalysts for early-stage research, collaboration, and innovation, strengthening the foundation for India’s next generation of scientific thinkers.

Adani International School offers a global learning experience with future-ready educational applications. It integrates cutting-edge technology with experiential learning processes in its curriculum, inspiring students to develop essential life skills.
