Mumbai, February 8: Adah Sharma, the actress who captured hearts with her performance in ‘The Kerala Story‘, continues to shine both on-screen and across social media platforms. She has recently been awarded for her outstanding performances in various films.
The award recognizes her contributions to several projects. Additionally, she had the opportunity to meet with a cricket team of differently-abled girls, sharing memorable moments from their interaction.
Adah Sharma received the Zee Heroes Breakthrough Performer Award. In photos shared on Instagram, she is seen taking selfies with the award. She expressed her gratitude in the caption, stating, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Zee Heroes for the Breakthrough Performer Award and to the audience for their love for my films ‘1920’, ‘The Kerala Story’, ‘Sunflower-2’, ‘Commando’, ‘Bastar’, and ‘Rita Sanyal’.”
She further mentioned, “I had the privilege of meeting the Indian differently-abled girls’ cricket team, and it was a perfect photo opportunity. I also met Purnima Devi Barman, a true heroine who has dedicated her life to the conservation of the Har Gila bird. This bird was once considered unlucky and was killed, but it has now become a national heritage. You should read more about her; she is amazing.”
A food enthusiast, Adah also shared a light-hearted moment in her post, revealing that she saved one idli from her flight meal, having already eaten four. She enjoyed the last idli while sitting in her car.
Adah’s passion extends beyond films; she has a deep love for Sanatan Dharma and nature. She has often shared videos reciting Vishnu Sahasranama and Shiva Tandava Stotra. At events, she performs the Shiva Tandava Stotra, aiming to connect youth with their spiritual roots.
Whenever she gets the chance, she participates in religious events. Recently, she visited Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh, where she shared photos spending time with animals.
