AAP Announces Major Organizational Changes in Punjab

Chandigarh, February 5: The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab has announced significant changes to its organizational structure. Parminder Singh Goldy has been appointed as the State Working President of the party’s youth wing.

The party issued an official notification detailing the appointment of new officials across various wings, districts, and assembly constituencies. This announcement was made from the party office located in Chandigarh.

The most notable appointment is in the youth wing, where Parminder Singh Goldy takes the helm as State Working President. Goldy has previously served as the Chairman of the Punjab Youth Development Board and is recognized for his strong influence in the Kharar region. His new role is expected to help the party mobilize youth and inject fresh energy into its initiatives.

In the trade wing, Ranjit Pal Singh has been appointed as the State General Secretary. This position is crucial for strengthening the voices of activists connected to the business community and ensuring their concerns reach the party leadership.

Several appointments have also been made at the district level. In Hoshiarpur district, Krishanjit Rao has been named the District In-Charge of the Scheduled Caste (SC) wing. Gursharan Singh Goldy has been appointed as the District Secretary of the main wing in Amritsar Rural, while Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi takes on the same role in Sri Muktsar Sahib.

New names have emerged for the positions of organizational in-charges and coordinators at the assembly constituency level. These include Hena (Sunny Thakedar) from Kapurthala, Pradeep Singh Lada from Attari, Rajbir Singh from Raja Sansi, Advocate Raman Kumar from Amritsar West, Gurpreet Singh Dhaliwal from Faridkot, Mandeep from Kotakpura, Raju Kanojia from Ludhiana West, Gurman Singh from Jira, and Gurjant Singh Gill from Nihal Singh Wala (Youth Wing Coordinator).

This organizational expansion is part of the party’s preparation for the 2027 assembly elections. AAP aims to empower grassroots workers, engage the youth and business community, and expand its reach across various sectors. Recently, AAP Punjab has taken several steps to strengthen its organization to solidify its position in the state.
