Noida, February 26: A tragic incident unfolded in a residential society in Sector 143 of Noida on Thursday, where a young man took his own life by jumping from the 12th floor.
The event caused chaos within the society as residents gathered in shock. Upon receiving the report, the police from Sector 142 quickly arrived at the scene and rushed the injured young man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors.
The deceased has been identified as Narendra Sharma, son of Devdutt Sharma, and is believed to be a resident of the same society in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
According to police, they received information on Thursday about a person who had jumped from the 12th floor. The police team acted promptly and initiated necessary procedures. Preliminary investigations revealed that Narendra Sharma had returned to his Noida residence just 24 hours prior, having visited his brother. Currently, the reasons behind the suicide remain unclear. No suicide note was found at the scene, complicating the investigation further.
Authorities are questioning family members and nearby residents to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident. The family of the deceased also arrived at the scene shortly after the event.
The police have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination, while further legal actions are underway. Local residents are left stunned by this incident in their community.
