Ranchi, February 26: BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular leader globally, attributing this to his policies that have steered India into a new direction in the 21st century. His remarks came in light of PM Modi becoming the first leader in the world to surpass 100 million followers on Instagram.
Shahdev emphasized that Instagram is considered the most active platform for youth, and Modi’s achievement of 100 million followers clearly indicates that he has emerged as the world’s largest Youth Icon. People across the globe are inspired by PM Modi‘s leadership and vision.
Discussing India-Israel relations, Shahdev noted that the bond between the two nations has been strong for a long time, with Israel being India’s “all-weather friend.” He highlighted that India has always stood by Israel whenever needed, recalling PM Modi‘s strong condemnation of the Hamas attacks.
Shahdev also responded to Akhilesh Yadav’s comments regarding Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath‘s foreign trip. He pointed out that this is Adityanath’s first foreign visit as Chief Minister, aimed at attracting investment to the state.
In a sarcastic tone, Shahdev remarked that while Akhilesh Yadav used to travel abroad for leisure and jungle safaris, Yogi Adityanath, as a monk, is focused on working for the state’s interests during his trip.
It is noteworthy that Akhilesh Yadav had commented on CM Yogi’s visit to Japan, questioning how those who previously opposed foreign trips are now undertaking them themselves.
