Modi and Netanyahu Share Moment After Israeli Parliament Speech

New Delhi, February 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a visit to Israel. He addressed the Israeli Parliament, where he was honored with the prestigious ‘Speaker of the Knesset Medal.’ Following this, PM Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu traveled together to a museum.

After a lengthy program at the Knesset, PM Modi shared a photo on social media featuring himself and Netanyahu in the same car. In the post, he mentioned that they were heading to a museum after his speech in Parliament.

PM Modi wrote, “After my speech in Parliament, Prime Minister Netanyahu and I are going to an exhibition showcasing advancements in the world of technology.”

Earlier, PM Modi received the highest honor from Israel, the ‘Speaker of the Knesset Medal,’ presented to him by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana immediately after addressing the members of Parliament in Jerusalem.

During his historic speech, which was the first ever delivered by an Indian Prime Minister in the Knesset, PM Modi expressed gratitude for the honor, describing it as a recognition of the unbreakable friendship between the two democratic nations.

This achievement further enhances PM Modi’s rare global stature, as he has become one of the few leaders to be honored at the highest level by both Israel and Palestine. In 2018, he received the Grand Collar of the State of Palestine, the highest Palestinian honor for foreign individuals.
