CM M.K. Stalin Visits Madurai to Launch Development Projects

Chennai, February 21: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will visit Madurai on Saturday to inaugurate several development projects. He will first travel from Madurai Airport to the ELCOT Technology Park, where he will participate in an official event.

Following this, he will inaugurate a capacity-building facility established by Pinnacle Industries. The CM will then head to Thamukkam Maidan, a key location in the city, to preside over the inauguration ceremony of an important highway project. He will also participate in the virtual unveiling of a statue honoring the renowned freedom fighters, the Marudhu Pandiyar brothers.

In the afternoon, CM Stalin will visit Meenakshi Government Women’s Arts College, where he will inaugurate a newly constructed computer lab, enhancing educational resources for students. Shortly after, he will depart for Vandiur, where he will inaugurate several development initiatives, including modern facilities at the Anguran Science Center and a new office building for the local panchayat.

Additionally, he will officially launch a rural drinking water supply project that will benefit 867 families in nearby villages.

The Chief Minister’s schedule also includes a break at Madurai Guest House around 1:20 PM, after which he will attend a program organized for DMK grassroots workers in the evening. He will conclude his official activities by visiting the Gandhi Memorial Museum for an event hosted by the People’s Justice Forum.

Around 6:30 PM, he is scheduled to depart for Chennai via a special flight from Madurai Airport, marking the end of his one-day visit. This trip underscores the state government’s ongoing commitment to infrastructure development, educational improvement, and rural welfare projects across Tamil Nadu.
