During the closing session of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, CM Yadav announced the launch of the Madhya Pradesh State AI Mission. This initiative aims to transform governance, public services, and economic opportunities through technology.

In the presence of CM Yadav, three significant strategic MOUs were exchanged to effectively implement the key pillars of the state’s AI mission through the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation.

The agreements include collaboration with Jenspark AI Inc. for optimizing AI infrastructure, developing creative AI-based governance solutions, and establishing an innovation testing platform. Additionally, a partnership with Invisid AI will focus on deploying AI-driven digital twins at the state data center. Furthermore, collaboration with Sarvam AI (Exonwise Pvt. Ltd.) will ensure the development of sovereign AI infrastructure and AI-enabled public services.

Moreover, a letter of intent was issued to Submer Technologies SL for the development of energy-efficient, liquid-cooled, and AI-ready data center infrastructure, aiming for a gigawatt of AI-optimized capacity in the future.

CM Yadav emphasized that a new AI ecosystem will be established in Madhya Pradesh, comprising five main components. The first is computer infrastructure, which will include shared GPUs and data centers. The second is talent development, focusing on AI education in colleges and industry certification. The third component is startup support, providing funding, mentorship, and incubation. The fourth is industry utilization, promoting AI adoption. Lastly, the fifth component is research and innovation, encouraging industry-related research centers and innovations. CM Yadav stated that the state will not only utilize AI but also develop the capacity to create AI. AI-focused accelerators will be launched in Bhopal and Indore.

He also mentioned the establishment of an AI governance sandbox through the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation, with the government providing a robust platform.

CM Yadav noted that AI technology will now be integrated into the state’s industrial development policy, potentially increasing production capacity by 15 to 20 percent, particularly in the textile, pharma, mining, and auto sectors. Madhya Pradesh will promote solar-based centers, hybrid energy models, and green data centers in the renewable energy sector to foster AI development, ensuring that digital growth and environmental conservation go hand in hand.

He concluded by stating that AI will become a significant growth engine for Madhya Pradesh’s economy in the future. Over the next five years, the state aims to create over 50,000 new jobs through more than 500 AI startups. Necessary steps will also be taken to maximize AI utilization in key industries and export AI services.
