LJP (Ram Vilas) Protests Against Tejashwi Yadavs Remarks on Ram Vilas Paswan

Patna, February 15: Supporters of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) are outraged after a leader from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) referred to the late Ram Vilas Paswan as ‘helpless.’ On Sunday, LJP leaders and activists staged a vigorous protest at Kargil Chowk in Patna, where they also burned an effigy of Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly.

LJP (Ram Vilas) leaders claim that the RJD MLA’s comments in the Bihar Assembly were disrespectful to the late Ram Vilas Paswan. “We are protesting against this insult to our leader,” they stated.

Arun Bharti, a Member of Parliament and state organizational in-charge, emphasized that the remarks made by the RJD MLA about their leader are unacceptable. He accused RJD members of consistently disrespecting Dalits and the poor. “Our protests will continue until Tejashwi Yadav apologizes in the Assembly,” he declared.

Additionally, Raju Tiwari, the state president of the party, noted that such statements from RJD leaders have marginalized the party. “No member of our party can tolerate disrespect towards our leader. Ram Vilas Paswan worked for every section of society, and using derogatory terms against him is inappropriate,” he asserted.

During the budget session of the Assembly, RJD MLA Kumar Sarvjeet used the term ‘helpless’ to describe Ram Vilas Paswan, prompting strong objections from LJP leaders. Notably, party chief and central minister Chirag Paswan also criticized the RJD for this statement, asserting that such remarks are intolerable.
