
Mumbai, February 9: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is celebrating its centenary with events across various states in India.
On Sunday, a grand celebration took place in Mumbai, attended by numerous Bollywood stars and television celebrities. Rupali Ganguly, known for her role in “Anupamaa,” shared photos from the centenary event, where she was seen interacting with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Rupali expressed her pride in being part of the celebration, stating on social media platform X, “It was an honor to be in the presence of Mohan Bhagwat and to engage in dialogue with him. I feel privileged to be part of the RSS’s 100-year celebration. Meeting members of the Sangh family brought me immense joy, and I feel honored to be part of such an important occasion.”
Also featured in the photos was actress Shilpa Shetty, who posted her own pictures from the event on Instagram. She congratulated the RSS on its centenary, saying, “Heartfelt congratulations on this centenary year. I am a huge admirer of Mohan Bhagwat. I greatly appreciate his commitment to serving the nation, and his thoughts inspire me. I believe everyone should share such ideals.”
In addition to Rupali and Shilpa, the event saw the presence of other stars like Vicky Kaushal, Ravi Dubey, and Karan Johar. Karan expressed his delight at attending the RSS centenary, stating, “It was a joy to be part of the RSS centenary celebration. Listening to Mohan Bhagwat’s thoughts and ideals was truly inspiring. We sincerely thank him for taking the time to engage with Bollywood personalities. A big thank you to everyone involved in organizing this event.”
