
Mumbai, February 8: Actor Vikrant Massey has put an end to rumors surrounding his involvement in the highly anticipated film ‘Ramayana,’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari. In a recent social media post, he clarified that he was never a part of the project.
Recent media reports suggested that Massey had been replaced by another actor, which left him visibly hurt. He took to Instagram to address the misinformation, urging the media to verify facts before spreading such news. Massey also extended his best wishes and love to the film’s team and cast.
In his post, Vikrant stated, “To put the rumors to rest, I clarify that I was never a part of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Many media portals reporting my ‘replacement’ should have conducted necessary background checks. It is quite disappointing; nonetheless, I wish all those involved in the film the best.”
The film ‘Ramayana’ features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and KGF star Yash as Ravana. The pan-India film is currently in rapid production.
Additionally, the film will showcase several other stars, including Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan as Jatayu, and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi. The music for ‘Ramayana’ is being composed by A.R. Rahman in collaboration with Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer.
This grand film is being produced in two parts, featuring an elaborate set. The action sequences are choreographed by top Hollywood stunt directors Terry Notary and Guy Norris. ‘Ramayana’ is being filmed in IMAX format.
