Alwar, February 8: The Alwar Tiger Marathon has officially commenced, aimed at promoting social unity, fitness, tiger conservation, environmental awareness, and tourism. The event saw participation from political figures and Bollywood fitness star Randeep Hooda.
Hooda expressed optimism about Alwar’s potential, stating, “Alwar will soon be established on the world map.”
During the marathon, Randeep Hooda remarked, “A wave of change is underway. Our local MP and Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav has hit multiple targets with one arrow. This initiative is not only part of Fit India but also crucial for tiger conservation. We need to establish this globally recognized sports hub and marathon venue on the world map. Participation has tripled in this second edition, and I believe it will continue to grow. I wish everyone the best from now.”
He added, “Alwar is a beautiful city. I first visited during its inaugural launch, and I am thrilled to be back today. It has history, nature, and culture. Alwar is stunning, and next time I come, I will be here not just as an actor but as a wildlife photographer, capturing many photos of tigers. For now, I am here after a shoot and will return shortly.”
Regarding his film shoot in Alwar, Hooda said, “Alwar is a beautiful place. It’s unfortunate that such cities are often overlooked for filming. I wish the people of Alwar the best for their upcoming development projects. Alwar will surely make its mark in the world.” He shared that he was eager to participate in the marathon but could not run this time due to a knee injury, promising to win the race next time.
It is noteworthy that Randeep Hooda has already pledged to protect the environment. He has urged fans to clean rivers and plant more trees. Recently, he shared on Instagram his efforts to clean up trash along the lakeshores, stating, “I pledge to contribute my best to the conservation of my environment.”
