BJP Criticizes Congress for Spreading Misinformation Amid Economic Growth

Delhi, February 8: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi of running a campaign based on lies, deception, and distrust, rather than showing confidence in the nation’s economic, infrastructural, social, and global decisions. This statement comes in response to questions regarding the trade agreement between India and the United States.

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh stated, “Whenever India makes strong decisions and leaps forward, Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party conspire to tarnish the country’s image without any facts. Rahul Gandhi consistently promotes an anti-India narrative through foreign tools, attempting to empower the nation’s adversaries.”

He further emphasized that instead of trusting the country’s economic, global, and social decisions, opposition leaders are engaged in spreading confusion, lies, and distrust. Chugh noted that while India is presented with new opportunities for growth and power, Rahul Gandhi seems uncomfortable, perceiving a threat to his corrupt and dynastic existence. He added, “When the country, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, becomes self-reliant and forges new trade agreements worldwide, Rahul Gandhi and Congress are spreading despair through negative Politics.”

Chugh also claimed that Rahul Gandhi has taken a contract to work against India.

On the India-U.S. trade deal, BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana remarked that due to the strong relationship between the U.S. and India, tariffs on several items have decreased from 50% to 18%. He highlighted that significant investments are flowing into India, which is becoming a major exporting nation with vast human resources. The world is focusing on India, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the way.
