BJP Aims for Major Change in Kerala Ahead of Elections

Kochi, February 7: The Kerala BJP has made its intentions clear for the upcoming assembly elections, following the visit of National President Nitin Naveen. State BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar stated that the party’s goal is not just to win a few seats but to bring about a change in power and direct development in the state.

Chandrasekhar emphasized that the visit of the young national president is highly inspiring and motivating for party workers. He noted that the national leadership has set clear objectives, and the organization must work diligently towards those goals. “We are not contesting elections for one or two seats. We are fighting for change, and our clear objective is to come to power. This will require significant effort,” he said.

The BJP state president highlighted that the main aim of the NDA in Kerala is to accelerate the overall development of the state by coming to power. He described this as the party’s mission, stating that Kerala will progress through development, investment, job creation, and better governance.

Targeting the Congress and CPI(M), Chandrasekhar accused both parties of acting against faith on issues related to Sabarimala. He announced that the BJP would soon launch a strong and immediate movement against the crimes committed by Congress and CPI(M) concerning Sabarimala, aiming to expose the duplicity of both parties.

Earlier, BJP President Nitin Naveen addressed a meeting of booth presidents from Alappuzha and Ernakulam revenue districts in Ernakulam on Friday. During this meeting, he praised the BJP organization. Naveen remarked, “Discipline in our working methods and an excellent organizational culture are the hallmarks of the BJP. This ideal guides us at every level. For decades, both UDF and LDF have engaged in corrupt and nepotistic Politics. They have achieved nothing significant for Kerala’s development. The message from the people is clear: Kerala is ready for change.”
